Advancing decarbonisation: The critical role of gas monitoring systems

Being able to effectively detect gases is a vital part of the health and safety operations of organisations in the industrial sector. A recent survey by Health and Safety International and Riken Keiki, a Japanese company that specialises in gas detection, finds 59% of health and safety professionals believe this is a ‘very important’ part of their job, with a further 30% rating it as ‘important’.

While some organisations may only require single-component gas detection, in many applications multi-gas detection is required. Two-thirds of respondents (67%) say multi-gas detection is ‘very important’, and another quarter (25%) say this is ‘important’, in their roles.
